Hotel Quinta do Furão has offered a very special treat to some of his most adventurous guests – breakfast served at sunrise in Pico Ruivo – the highest peak in Madeira Island.
At 5 a.m., the adventure started with a Safari Jeep Trip from Quinta do Furão to Achada do Teixeira. From there, the group hiked up to the top of Pico Ruivo – a charming moonlight walk of about 35 minutes.
At the top, Quinta do Furão guests’ had the chance to contemplate the stunning sunrise over a splendid “sea of clouds” – and then have breakfast served in this breathtaking setting.
