As an alternative to the temporarily closed Peaks Walk, we are now offering the new Madeira Mountain Tour.
Madeira Mountain Tour is a Full Day Saturday tour that will take you to the highest and the easternmost points in Madeira.
On this tour you’ll have a chance to walk from Achada do Teixeira to Pico Ruivo (yes, the highest of the Peaks!) and back, and then hike the beautiful Ponta de São Lourenço, Madeira’s easternmost region with its (simultaneous!) views of the north and south coasts of the island, the Desertas Islands and, on clear days, of Porto Santo as well.
The total walking time is about 4h30 with a short drive between the two walks. As usual we’ll pick you up and return you to your hotel when we finish.
